First up: wash day essentials 🫧

We LOVE using the Redken All Soft shampoo & conditioner for that super hydrated, glossy finish.

If you’re an Olaplex girl, their shampoo & conditioner is also an amazing alternative - both work beautifully on our wigs.

Now let’s talk repair + care 💧

Olaplex No.3 is a MUST. We recommend using this on every single wig wash, not every 2–3 washes - it keeps the hair strong, healthy, and feeling brand new.

For aftercare + styling 🎀

Always go in with Beauty Works heat protection before applying any heat - this step is non-negotiable if you want to protect the hair.

Then follow with Ouai leave-in conditioner for extra softness and manageability.

To finish… ✨

Add a little Ouai hair oil for that glossy, luxe look.

And if you want your wig smelling unreal all day, the Ouai hair & body mist is our fave - totally optional, but we love it (it’s all personal preference!).

Important: We do not recommend using cheap or low-quality shampoos and conditioners on your wig. These often contain harsh ingredients that dry out the fibres, cause frizz, and drastically reduce the wig’s lifespan.

Washing Your Wig

Wash your wig only once a month. Over-washing can wear out the fibres, affect the structure, and shorten its lifespan. Always use lukewarm water, apply products gently, and let the wig air dry naturally.

Heat Styling Tips

Limit heat styling to once per week to avoid excess heat damage.

Always use heat protection spray before heat styling.

Use low to medium heat settings only – max 180 degrees.

Storing Your Wig

Every order comes with:

- A polystyrene mannequin head – ideal for keeping your wig in shape between wears.

- A satin storage bag – perfect for travel or storing your wig safely in a drawer or suitcase.

Extra Tips

- Detangle gently with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, starting from the ends and working up.

- Don’t sleep or shower in your wig.

- Keep your wig away from heat sources and direct sunlight when not in use.

How to care for the lace

To keep your wig looking its best, it’s important to handle the lace with extra care. When washing your wig, always be gentle around the lace area - avoid harshly scrubbing or pulling. Never put on or take off your wig by tugging on the hair attached to the lace, as this can loosen or pull out the strands, eventually causing bald patches. Instead, hold the wig by the cap or ear tabs to maintain its shape and longevity. Treating the lace gently will help your wig last longer and look flawless wear after wear.
